STI was founded in 1971 and has experienced continuous growth. We are an irregular-route common and contract motor carrier headquartered in Quincy, Illinois. We operate in 48 states.

Our wide variety of equipment is enhanced by the authority we possess. Our services include short haul as well as long haul markets with the intent of giving our customers optimum coverage from a single carrier.

STI has maintained the same customer base since its founding. STI has maintained customer loyalty by its commitment to quality and cost-effective moving of freight. This commitment extends to all levels of personnel.

Claims
The STI policy is to settle claims within 60 days. Our claims ratio has remained consistently two tenths of one percent of revenue. Simply put, STI moves products efficiently, safely, and in good condition.

Safety
STI has consistently remained below industry averages in accidents per million miles.

Management
STI management personnel average over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. If our customers have special transportation needs, we have the experience to meet those needs.

Authority
STI has both common and contract interstate authority for 48 states. We also have intrastate authority in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. This allows STI to offer a broad spectrum of services to our customers.

Equipment
Our extensive fleet of tractors and trailers is among the most modern and well-kept equipment in the industry. We offer reefers, flatbeds, and bulk tankers in addition to air-ride vans which are maintained by our ASE Certified mechanics.

Insurance
At STI, we carry extensive insurance for cargo loss or damage, as well as other forms of insurance. With $500,000 in cargo insurance per power unit, per occurrence, shipments are completely protected. Loss and damage claims are promptly handled by professionals through our administrative offices in Quincy, Illinois.

Continuing Growth
STI has maintained a consistent growth in employment over the past five years with little turnover in personnel. This allows our customers peace of mind by knowing that the people serving them today will be the same people serving them tomorrow.
