Shop Team – Technicians
Full-time and part-time shifts available; we can work with Quincy VoTech Diesel Tech schedules as well. Hourly pay based on qualifications and experience. All shifts are available. Night shift differential pay applies.

We are accepting applications for entry level and experienced truck, trailer, lube, and refrigeration technicians. Training is available. We also have ongoing professional development opportunities through Mack Trucks Academy for our technicians. We offer competitive benefits and paid uniforms. A driver’s license required. Major shop tools provided.

Shop Team – Night Service Writer/Breakdown Specialist
Full-time night shift position. Hourly pay based on qualifications and experience. Night shift differential pay applies.

Manage inbound/outbound communications with drivers, parts vendors, and operations concerning over-the-road breakdowns. Determine the type of service required based on diagnosis. Coordinate service to assist drivers with mechanical issues. Submit final invoices for payment. Driver’s license required.

Desired skills: Customer Service, Mechanical Background, Phone, Computer, Microsoft Office, Decision-making, Detail-oriented, Highly Organized

Knowledge of service department operations, NTTS, mechanical, and/or logistics background preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Hours: Night Shift 1730-0400 weekdays; every other weekend shift required.

Operations – Fleet Manager/Dispatcher
Full-time, day shifts M-F with flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts when required.
Pay based on experience with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Effectively coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of our fleet of Flatbeds and Step Decks ensuring timely and claim-free deliveries.
• Help ensure compliance and conformity with all DOT regulations and laws governing commercial transportation. 
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to dispatch operations. 
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and all internal teams.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and promptly address any service-related issues.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Truck or Freight dispatching roles.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with sourcing and planning freight.
• Proficiency in using dispatching software and other relevant tools.
• Solid communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Coordinating vehicle mapping and transportation across the US and Canada.
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts when required.

Operations – Customer Service Representatives
Full-time, day shift M-F from 7-5 CST (occasional Saturday by rotation schedule)
Pay based on experience with competitive benefits.

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of freight movements for our customers. Duties include, but are not limited to, booking loads and scheduling pick up and deliveries while working with company personnel and offsite customer service to ensure seamless freight transactions. Work directly with customers as a Sharkey Transportation account representative to know customer expectations, awarded commitments, and appointment needs. Keep customers informed and up-to-date while working directly with Operation for tracking and on-time results. Track customer scorecard reviews and monitor customer trailer pools.
