Sharkey Transportation, Inc. is poised to handle our customers' complete shipping needs. Our experience in professionally meeting those needs has allowed us to build long lasting and positive partnerships with those we serve.

STI believes service goes beyond picking up and delivering shipments safely and on schedule. At the heart of our administrative system is a state-of-the-art computer which quickly and accurately provides information on billing, receivables, and delivery, allowing us to function with unparalleled efficiency.

STI is actively involved in electronic data interchange programs with a number of our customers, and we are expanding our EDI capabilities with additional customers as requested.

STI has also entered the field of satellite tracking systems. At the request of customers, we have installed on-board computers to assist in the immediate tracking of product en route.

STI pricing is non-bureau, utilizing individual tariff publications tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. We also exercise the use of our contract authority by establishing individual contract rates to service our customers' specific needs.

Over the past several years, the transportation industry has weathered high inflation, volatile interest rates, increased fuel costs, numerous tax revisions, driver shortages, and deregulation. Throughout this period, one constant has remained and will remain: high-quality transportation service will continue to surpass all economic pressures and withstand the test of time.

We have not attempted to become a supermarket of transportation services. We simply do what we do best and improve our level of service at every opportunity. We will continue to offer personal service to our customers and assist them in meeting their transportation needs.
